The only thing I can say is he is a great doctor! I trust him completely with my health.

He can be moody and cold. He made his diagnosis this last time without any tests or physically examining me. And both my husband who goes with me and I felt like Dr Ranganini had an attitude like I was wasting his time or he was annoyed just very unpleasant. He needs to realize that patients are often scared when they see him. Having heart issues is scary. A doctor in his field should be caring and compassionate, knowledgeable and able to explain himself in such a way we patients understand our diagnosis and why he has ordered any tests etc. I definitely didn't get that .

He took plenty of time to talk with me and explain what the next steps are in my treatment and gave me things to consider after those are complete.

Dr. R is always friendly, kind and respectful. I was a little surprised that an EKG was not taken and that he just listened briefly to my heart. It is difficult for me to navigate getting to the hospital since I am often extremely short of breath, so I felt, except for the time Dr. R spent talking with me, it was a wasted trip. I do like Dr. R especially since he does take time to listen to me and very likely learns what he needs to know from our conversation.

I thought he took his time with me and told me what I needed to hear about a life style change without overwhelming me. He asked me several times if I had any questions and I should have written some down prior to coming for the appointment. Mostly about the testing and I was not aware of him wanting these types of tests. I read about the stress test and it is a little scary to me. That is not what I had before. How will this test effect my taking the Covid 19 shot on the 11th. Do the test before or after that injection. Both are important to me.
