What is the grading scale for Clarkston Community Schools? ›

Clarkston Community Schools utilizes a general percentage-based grading system that is applied to all assignments (tests, homework, etc.) to determine quarter grades. This percentage system can range from 0-100% with corresponding letter grades.

Policy: CHS students are allotted a maximum of 12 absences per semester.

Clarkston Community Schools is a highly regarded school district with an enrollment of approximately 6,500 students. We have seven elementary schools (K-5), one middle school serving grades 6-7, one junior high for grades 8-9, and Clarkston High School, which serves students in grades 10-12.

Students are expected to dress appropriately for school. All students must refrain from wearing excessively baggy or sagging cloth- ing, pants must be pulled up on the waist, and shirts must be tucked in.

A final calculation of G.P.A. and class rank is determined at the end of the senior year and will be reflected on the final transcript which is sent to colleges. CFISD uses a weighted 6.0 grading scale.
